On 17th November16 we presented the project and the measuring device CAPTOR at the Umweltkulturpraktikum (UKP) from GLOBAL 2000. At UKP environmental interested students get involved in different projects and they take part at seminars about various environmental issues.
We explained basics on ozone pollution, presented the self built CAPTOR and asked them on their opinions on the AirAct app. The group seemed interested in the CAPTOR project and the different ways to join, by discussing, by hosting a Captor or by simply checking data with the app on their mobile phones.

Julian Rauschka (GLOBAL 2000) presenting the project

There was no lack of productive questions and comments. We could also sense some skepticism if CAPTOR will really change something in air quality in Austria.

Barbara Kieslinger (ZSI) presented the AirAct app with an interactive ozone map. We got useful feedback from this group of young experts.
