For two full days CAPTOR was sharing a market stand with other great initiatives on “Clean air for all”. Together with representatives from the hackair Team, the sensebox and the Joint Research Centre Ispra we were busy explaining participants at the European Citizen Science Conference in Geneva how far we have come with measuring air pollution with low cost DIY air sensors.
The stand offered a range of devices and experiences, from very low cost models focusing on PM to the high range of a devices that offers a “plug and go” system for a very wide range of different devices. The sensebox was also presenting a DIY kid for schools.
CAPTOR tried to capture the public opinion on ozone pollution amongst the conference participants and got a very wide spread of view and knowledge, with people mostly feeling not well informed about the local ozone pollution in their area.
