The Captor projects measures  air pollution with self-built measuring devices in testbed regions in the 3 project countries in Austria, Italy and Spain. Workshops and events take place in these testbed regions.

If you have a similar project idea and want to get active against air pollution, you can become an offspring partner and we will support your project. We are looking for offsprings in all European countries, as well as overseas.

Step 1: Check you requirements:

You are or have been active in the field of environmental protection, air pollution or citizen science.

You have basic technical and IT knowledge.

You will work together with an expert on  air quality monitoring (from  a research institution or a regional air quality monitoring network)

You have access to at least 1 air quality monitoring network where the nodes will be calibrated.

Step 2:  Contact us on  contact@captor-project.archiv.zsi.at  or write to one of you project partners. We will send you a short questionnaire to get an overview of your project idea and to assess your requirements.

Step 3The CAPTOR team will do the evaluation and decide on offspring partners for CAPTOR. We will present the selected partners on the webpage. As an offspring partner you will get the following:

– Handbook(s)

-Advice on financing options for your project.

– Instructions by video

– Access to our captor network

– A starter kit including material for a RAPTOR and/or CAPTOR.

– Support and expertise during the initial phase by an offspring-coach.
