Last summer the CAPTOR-Team Austria was waiting patiently for the first 3 CAPTOR measuring devices to arrive. After beeing built and tested in Spain we got 3 CAPTORS. We installed them at 3 official measuring stations from the Federal Environmental Agency (in Illmitz) and the the Air Quality department of the Province of Lower Austria (in Schwechat and Stixneusiedl). Thanks to the support from Environmantal Agency and Air Quality department we managed to install the CAPTORS without problems. We needed long cables to connect to the power socket inside the measuring station.
We will deinstall the Captors after winter. We#re looking forward to see, how they cope with snow, ice and wind in the Austrian Lowlands.
